◼WHO ARE WE? Appomattox Audio Works is a live event production company in Virginia based out to Dinwiddie. We supply pro-audio, lighting and live video streaming for live music and corporate events. 

◼THE GIG Appomattox Audio Works is seeking a Lighting Technician for our 2023 events who will be responsible for ensuring the success of show and event productions by performing the technical aspects related to the show(s) production.

  ◼WHAT YOU’LL DO Responsibilities include, but not limited to, Setup and operation of the lighting system, rigging of lighting, and assisting any and all positions at any time. This includes interpreting the lighting plot for a rig, light fixture placement, assignment of dimmer patches, and final focus. This includes programming and operating lighting systems and taking and executing cues from the technical director, project manager, or stage manager. Interact with clients and staff in a positive and professional manner and assisting any and all positions at any time, including loading and unloading of trucks.  

 ◼WHAT YOU’LL BRING 1 year minimum Lighting Technician Experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems and basic video systems Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Must have knowledge of lighting consoles, DMX-512 and Art-Net protocols and DMX addressing. Must be able to move up to 75lbs using proper lifting techniques Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
